Shift Supervisor - 2nd Shift - Injection Molding (PVC)

What you will do

• Lead second-shift injection molding operations, including people, equipment, schedules, molds, and production output.
• Direct, train, coach, and develop production employees while setting expectations and addressing performance issues.
• Oversee machine setup, process checks, quality inspections, documentation, and production reporting.
• Coordinate with Maintenance on preventive maintenance, repairs, mold changes, and equipment improvements.
• Resolve production, quality, staffing, and equipment issues while reducing downtime, waste, overtime, and inefficiencies.
• Lead safety and continuous-improvement activities, including 5S, total productive maintenance, standard work, audits, lockout/tagout, and machine guarding.

Requirements

• Direct experience with plastic injection molding processes and equipment.
• PVC injection molding experience is strongly preferred.
• Two to four years of manufacturing experience and one to three years leading, supervising, or managing employees.
• Post-secondary education, technical training, or equivalent manufacturing leadership experience.
• Knowledge of injection molding machines, molds, processing requirements, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, quality controls, and production workflows.
• Knowledge of manufacturing safety practices, including lockout/tagout and machine guarding; ability to complete the company forklift-licensing process.
