Sales & Operations Advisor (Automotive)

Location: 4410 Merle Hay Road, Urbandale, Iowa 50310, United States; onsite dealership role

Salary: $53,000 per year plus bonus

What you will do

• Guide prospective customers through vehicle selection, financing options, the nurture process, and the full sales cycle.
• Make sales calls, secure appointments, and convert scheduled visits into completed purchases.
• Perform dealership operations including store opening and closing, cash handling, inventory management, audits, documentation, and title and registration tasks.
• Maintain expertise in inventory, website and OET processes, financing, trades, upgrades, and post-sale activities.
• Deliver tailored customer experiences while collaborating with dealership colleagues and supporting a safe, effective team environment.
• Train new Sales and Operations Advisors and progress through Levels 0–4 toward greater responsibility in sales, operations, inventory, and dealership leadership.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; an associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in sales and retail operations, with demonstrated success in sales performance, operational processes, and customer experience.
• Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record for the previous 3 years.
• At least 18 years old and able to pass a drug test and background check.
• Ability to remain stationary for at least 75% of the workday, operate office equipment, communicate accurately with customers, and occasionally move items weighing up to 20 pounds.
