Operations Supervisor-Reno

What you will do

• Assist with supervising terminal, station, remote location, and booster station operations within budget and staffing plans.
• Coordinate workloads, staff assignments, maintenance programs, product delivery schedules, batch sequencing, equipment shutdowns, and pipeline work.
• Support hiring, training, performance management, employee motivation, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor operational budgets, expenditures, staffing levels, and short- and long-term plans.
• Inspect facilities for maintenance, housekeeping, environmental, and safety compliance.
• Coordinate with customers, government agencies, engineering teams, landowners, utilities, contractors, and construction inspectors.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of well-rounded pipeline operations experience, including product movement, mechanical maintenance, and lead responsibilities.
• Knowledge of refined petroleum pipeline facilities, equipment, hydraulics, piping, valves, and general engineering practices.
• Knowledge of supervisory principles, operational planning, corrective actions, budgeting, and regulatory compliance.
• Current, valid state driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Effective written and spoken English communication, strong organization, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and Outlook; physical ability to perform essential job functions.
