Medical Insights, Data Analyst Senior Manager (Pharmaceutical Analytics)

Location: Hybrid, with on-site work 2 to 3 days per week at NYHQ, Collegeville, PA, Cambridge, MA, Groton, CT, any hirify.global site in Europe, or Montreal, QC. Permanent U.S. work authorization is required; U.S. visa sponsorship is not available.

Annual base salary: $124,400–$207,400, plus a 17.5% bonus target and eligibility for a share-based long-term incentive program.

What you will do

• Deliver ad hoc and exploratory analyses for business and medical questions that cannot be answered through the InsightXplorer platform.
• Investigate underlying data sources and synthesize findings into decision-relevant outputs for Medical Affairs stakeholders.
• Prepare, validate, and maintain datasets for exploratory and recurring analyses.
• Partner with Engagement Leads to define business questions, analytical scope, and timelines.
• Test new data sources, analytical methods, and AI-enabled approaches through proof-of-concept analyses.
• Document data sources, transformations, assumptions, analytical methods, limitations, and recommendations while supporting compliant data use.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, data science, statistics, computer science, clinical informatics, life sciences, or a related discipline.
• 6+ years of relevant data analysis, interpretation, and reporting experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or another regulated environment.
• Proficiency with SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Dataiku, Python, or R.
• Ability to translate ambiguous business questions into analytical approaches and clear outputs independently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to analytical accuracy, documentation, and reproducibility.
• Must be authorized to work permanently in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree or certification in analytics, data science, statistics, or a related discipline.
• Experience in Medical Affairs or a related pharmaceutical function.
• Familiarity with natural-language processing, machine learning, or text analytics.
• Experience running proof-of-concept or pilot analyses before production build-out.
