Business Analyst (Wastewater Infrastructure)

Crane Pumps & Systems develops pump solutions for the efficient transport of wastewater within Crane Aerospace & Electronics.

What you will do

• Identify and evaluate Tier I commercial lift station packagers and wastewater infrastructure opportunities.
• Build and maintain data-driven models ranking states, regions, and municipalities by growth potential.
• Consolidate leads, market intelligence, funding opportunities, and channel partner insights into a centralized opportunity-tracking process.
• Provide project and market intelligence to Regional Sales Managers, channel partners, and sales leadership.
• Recommend market expansion and resource deployment strategies based on analytical findings.
• Improve and automate reporting processes while documenting data sources and workflows.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, in business analysis, data analytics, finance, or a related field; internships and co-op experience may count.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Analytics, or a related discipline.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to communicate analytical insights to stakeholders with different levels of data literacy.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, data accuracy, written and verbal communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not provided.

Nice to have

• 1–3 years of experience in Finance, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field, preferably in a business or manufacturing setting.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence and data visualization tools.
• Strong business acumen, experience building investment business cases, and the ability to build relationships with senior executives.
