Operations Analyst Internship - Remote (Summer 2027)

What you will do

• Support operational reviews, process improvement initiatives, and special projects within Installed Services.
• Gather, organize, and analyze business operations data using Excel, Power BI, and other business tools.
• Interview field leaders, technicians, and business partners to understand processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Document current-state workflows, procedures, system interactions, and process maps.
• Prepare workflow documentation, presentations, project recommendations, and updates for department leadership.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process standardization, reporting, and operational performance initiatives.

Requirements

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Construction Management, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
• Preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher and junior or senior standing; other class levels may be considered.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with field personnel, technicians, operational leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Knowledge of process mapping and workflow documentation methodologies.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Strong Excel and Power BI skills, including data analysis, reporting, and dashboard development.
• Experience with Visio, Miro, or similar process-mapping tools.
• Interest in Continuous Improvement and Lean principles.
• Curiosity about construction operations, service quality, warranty processes, and customer experience.
