Accounting Manager (Gaming)

What you will do

• Lead general ledger operations and ensure accurate posting of financial transactions in accordance with GAAP.
• Supervise journal entries, reconciliations, financial schedules, and balance sheet account reviews.
• Direct monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes and maintain audit-ready documentation.
• Recruit, coach, evaluate, and manage accounting department staff while driving team performance.
• Improve accounting processes, reporting accuracy, internal controls, and compliance practices.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, payroll administration, and cross-functional initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Hospitality or gaming industry experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, financial reporting, reconciliations, and audit engagements.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or a related field; CPA eligibility or an active CPA or CMA is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems such as Workday; ERP implementation or optimization experience is a plus.
• At least 21 years of age, effective English communication, United States work authorization, and Nevada Gaming Registration are required.
