Director, Finance (Gaming & Hospitality)

What you will do

• Direct general finance, budgetary control, management reporting, and monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Lead financial reporting for gaming and non-gaming operations, revenue controls, general accounting, and third-party food and beverage activities.
• Coordinate annual budgeting, operating proformas, capital purchase controls, and budget performance analysis.
• Maintain financial statement integrity, internal controls, accounting procedures, accounts payable accuracy, and compliance with applicable requirements.
• Work with external auditors and third parties, report significant financial or legal issues, and conduct special projects for senior management.
• Lead, train, coach, evaluate, and retain finance department members while supporting positive guest and team member relations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• At least five years of accounting or financial management experience in the casino industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience directing financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls, and accounting operations.
• Ability to work onsite in Las Vegas and work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, work in a noisy casino environment, and occasionally lift or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• Certified Public Accountant designation.
• Master of Business Administration degree.
