Electrical Assembler - 1st Shift & 2nd Shift

Location: Minneapolis, MN, United States; onsite

Salary: $26.97–$31.88 per hour, plus a $1.50 per-hour premium for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

What you will do

• Mount and assemble electrical components according to schematics, customer requirements, and engineering specifications.
• Pull and land wires and work with single-phase, three-phase, and high/low-voltage circuitry.
• Use basic hand tools, measuring devices, material-handling equipment, and electrical documentation.
• Maintain housekeeping and follow standard safety practices.
• Cross-train in other classifications and perform work within required output and quality standards.

Requirements

• Read and understand electrical schematics, instructions, wire gauges, and wire types.
• Have basic math and computer skills, verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and adaptability.
• Lift up to 50 pounds frequently and stand, bend, stoop, push, and pull for up to an 8-hour shift.
• Climb ladders or scaffolding frequently and safely operate material-handling equipment.
• Grip, manipulate, and hold small parts; distinguish alarms, sirens, and mechanical sounds; and meet specified visual requirements.
