TL;DR
Electronic Assembler, 1st Shift - HammerHead (Electrical Assembly): Assembling, wiring, testing, and inspecting electrical and electronic components and subassemblies with an accent on reading schematics, cable routing, crimping, soldering, and quality control. Focus on troubleshooting basic electrical issues, documenting production work, and maintaining safety and productivity standards in a manufacturing environment.

Location: Lake Mills, Wisconsin, United States; onsite manufacturing plant environment

Salary: $21.00–$25.00 per hour

What you will do

  • Assemble electrical and electronic components, subassemblies, and finished products using work instructions, prints, schematics, bills of materials, and assembly drawings.
  • Perform wiring, cable routing, crimping, soldering, and electrical component termination.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, multimeters, continuity testers, and other production equipment.
  • Inspect completed assemblies, perform quality checks, and troubleshoot basic electrical and assembly issues.
  • Document completed work and production transactions using computer systems.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and support quality, safety, and efficiency improvements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2–3 years of electronic or electrical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and assembly drawings.
  • Experience with wiring, crimping, soldering, cable assembly, and basic electrical testing and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision and communicate effectively in a team.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

  • Technical certificate or vocational training in electronics or electrical assembly.
  • IPC or other electronics assembly certifications.
  • Experience with SAP or similar manufacturing or ERP systems.
  • Experience training or mentoring less experienced assemblers.
