Machine Operator I (6:00pm to 6:00am) C shift (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Set up and operate one or two manufacturing machines of moderate complexity.
• Use hand and power tools and operate a variety of machinery.
• Handle and dispose of hazardous chemicals according to procedures.
• Inspect finished work for defects before passing it to the next operation.
• Complete production and quality documentation.
• Support the team by training others in machine operator tasks as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of work experience and skill development.
• Ability to safely use small hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions and communicate effectively with a supervisor.
• Ability to operate a variety of manufacturing machinery.
• Ability to meet medium-heavy physical demands, including continuous standing and walking, frequent bending, squatting, lifting, and pushing or pulling.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally with assistance and up to 40 pounds frequently.

Nice to have

• Six or more months of manufacturing experience.
