Electrical Assembly & Wiring (Electrical Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Assemble electrical and electromechanical systems, frameworks, enclosures, and switchgear components.
• Perform point-to-point wiring using wiring prints, schematics, specification sheets, and bills of material.
• Measure, cut, route, label, terminate, and connect wires and components such as terminal blocks, breakers, relays, control devices, and bus components.
• Review work orders and diagrams, identify materials, and adjust, repair, or replace components to resolve defects.
• Mark assemblies for tracking and quality control, prepare finished products for shipment, and assist with movement of completed assemblies.
• Maintain tools and workstations, follow safety procedures and PPE requirements, and support continuous improvement.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
• Experience with hand tools such as screwdrivers, crimpers, wire cutters, and tape measures.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, work instructions, and work orders preferred.
• Good hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, accuracy, attention to detail, and basic problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift, push, or pull materials within defined limits.
• Ability to work onsite in a manufacturing environment with noise, electrical equipment, and moving machinery.
