Sr. Product Owner (Fintech)

Location: Boston, United States; hybrid work environment

Salary: $110,000–$158,500 annually, plus eligibility for a competitive incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Develop departmental technology product visions and communicate them to stakeholders, Agile teams, and the broader organization.
• Execute mid- to long-term product roadmaps, build stakeholder alignment, and validate features and user stories.
• Create product release plans and set expectations for delivering new functionality.
• Maintain and prioritize the backlog, clarify user stories, define acceptance criteria, and ensure consistent definitions of done.
• Manage external dependencies and impediments affecting release and sprint goals.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies, roadmap and release planning, the Product Owner Community of Practice, and budget management with the Scrum Master.

Requirements

• Current authorization to work full-time in the United States is required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 6–8+ years of experience in the financial services or technology industry.
• Strong understanding of products and business needs, including writing effective user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Outstanding communication, presentation, leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
• Visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or equivalent.
• Experience as a Product Owner on an Agile team.
• Certified Scrum Product Owner certification.
• Seismic Certified Administrator or Workfront System Administrator certification.
