Sr. Product Owner, Advice Digital Experience (Fintech)

Location: Owings Mills, Maryland, United States; hybrid work with up to one day per week from home

Base salary: $122,000–$209,000 annually for Maryland, Colorado, Washington, and remote workers. Additional salary ranges apply to Washington, D.C., New York, and California.

What you will do

• Own the digital product roadmap and prioritized backlog for Retirement Advisory Services and ActivePlus Portfolios.
• Translate business objectives and client needs into capabilities, epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and release plans.
• Lead product delivery from concept through launch, post-release stabilization, and ongoing optimization.
• Prioritize work across client impact, business value, technical effort, risk, dependencies, data, and team capacity.
• Partner with technology, engineering, design, analytics, operations, marketing, Legal, Risk, and Compliance teams to resolve blockers and manage tradeoffs.
• Lead and coach product managers and product owners while establishing standards for product execution and accountability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 8+ years of relevant experience, including significant digital product management or product ownership experience.
• Experience owning digital products or journeys from roadmap and backlog development through requirements, delivery, launch, and optimization.
• Experience prioritizing complex backlogs, breaking initiatives into buildable increments, and balancing business value, client impact, technical feasibility, risk, and capacity.
• Experience leading cross-functional delivery and communicating product decisions and delivery health to senior stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in wealth management, fintech, investment advisory, financial planning, retirement, or managed accounts.
• Experience combining self-service digital experiences with human- or advisor-supported interactions.
• Experience coaching product managers or product owners.
• Experience using funnel metrics, experimentation, digital analytics, or product performance data.
• Experience with modern web or mobile platforms, APIs, integrations, vendors, and enterprise technology ecosystems.
