Project Controls Manager (Data Center Construction)

Location: Culpeper, VA, United States; domestic travel required (25%).

What you will do

• Develop and govern project-level controls covering cost, schedule, quality, risk, change, contingency, and performance.
• Lead, develop, train, and manage a project controls team of cost managers and schedulers, including external service providers.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, forecasts, baselines, variance analysis, KPIs, dashboards, and portfolio reporting.
• Conduct project reviews to identify critical path activities, delays, cost impacts, risks, and optimization opportunities.
• Present project status, risks, mitigation strategies, recovery plans, and executive-level performance updates to internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Preconstruction, Construction, Finance, Development, and project teams to improve data integrity, governance, and delivery certainty.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, construction management, engineering, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of progressive experience leading project or portfolio controls across multiple large-scale, complex projects.
• Experience managing cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams.
• Experience with data center or mission-critical facility construction is highly desirable.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must pass comprehensive background and drug screening.
