Instrumentation Technician - AAS

Location: 3260 Production Way, Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada

Salary: CAD 20.50 per hour

What you will do

• Perform laboratory techniques and analyses independently according to approved methods and standard operating procedures.
• Maintain daily logs, equipment record books, inventory records, and analytical results.
• Operate, troubleshoot, inspect, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Conduct routine instrument compliance checks and support preventive maintenance.
• Assist with method SOPs, validation protocols, reporting, and interpretation of results.
• Support daily health and safety checks, emergency protocols, meetings, and incident reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree or diploma in a science-related program, or equivalent experience or training.
• 1–3 years of relevant laboratory work experience.
• Ability to follow technical methods, standard operating procedures, and equipment operating instructions.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in Canada.
• Ability to work safely and maintain a clean, organized laboratory environment.
