Project Manager (Environmental)

Location: Scott, Louisiana, USA. Hybrid work is available, with remote work permitted up to 2 days per week after initial training and at the manager's discretion.

What you will do

• Serve as the main client services contact for a portfolio of lower-complexity clients and projects.
• Coordinate project setup, including quotes, supply orders, sample receipt, analytical details, data reporting, and invoicing.
• Act as the liaison between clients, laboratory operations, and sales to support on-time project completion.
• Monitor project status, maintain accurate project records, and provide proactive updates to stakeholders.
• Review project data and invoices for accuracy before final reports are sent to clients.
• Train and delegate tasks to Project Manager Assistants and participate in client meetings.

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent industry experience, plus 1–2 years of relevant experience in science and/or customer service.
• Advanced oral and written communication skills and advanced English language skills.
• Advanced mathematical, reasoning, and computer skills.
• Strong initiative, resourcefulness, attention to detail, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds.
• A bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field and 2–3 years of Project Manager Assistant experience are preferred.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of environmental regulations, including NPDES and SW-846.
