Design Systems Lead

Location: Remote

Compensation: $220,000–$280,000 annually, plus equity.

What you will do

• Own and evolve the shared design system, consolidating fragmented systems and patterns.
• Define product patterns and standards that improve consistency, quality, and accessibility.
• Partner with Brand, Product, and Engineering to connect brand expression with product implementation.
• Create tools and ways of working that enable teams to build high-quality experiences at scale.
• Explore AI and new tooling to accelerate design, development, and iteration.
• Raise the bar for craft across hirify.global products.

Requirements

• Strong product design experience with design systems, platform experiences, or shared product foundations.
• Exceptional interaction and visual design skills with close attention to craft.
• Systems-thinking ability to turn complexity into clear, scalable solutions.
• Experience working deeply with Engineering and sufficient technical fluency to understand scalable product infrastructure.
• Ability to partner across Brand and Product and connect expressive brand thinking with functional product needs.
• Natural leadership, practical execution, and curiosity about AI-enabled product development.
