Care Management Support Assistant (Autism Care Demonstration)

Location: Remote nationwide within the United States; U.S. citizenship required. Candidates currently living in Puerto Rico cannot be hired. Occasional travel to hirify.global offices for training or meetings may be required. Work hours are 10:30 a.m.–7 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday; mandatory training during the first 4–6 weeks is scheduled for 8 a.m.–4:30 p.m. EST.

Salary: $39,000–$49,400 per year

What you will do

• Process referrals from Military Treatment Facilities and civilian providers for the Autism Care Demonstration program.
• Recognize ACD assessments and treatment plans, then pend referrals and authorizations for review.
• Coordinate authorizations with Autism Services Navigators and Utilization Management.
• Enter data into medical management systems, conduct eligibility and ECHO benefit reviews, and document referral tasks.
• Answer inbound calls, web chats, and provider or beneficiary questions about the TRICARE Autism Care Demonstration.

Requirements

• 2 or more years of medical coding and/or behavioral health experience.
• 3 or more years of customer service or referral management experience in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
• 3 years of experience in healthcare, medical services, or health insurance.
• U.S. citizenship and successful approval for a government security clearance through NBIS are required.
• Applicants must not currently reside in Puerto Rico.
• Ability to work an 8-hour shift from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. EST and complete mandatory training hours.

Nice to have

• Military healthcare service experience or working knowledge of the TRICARE entitlement program.
• Bachelor’s degree.
