Director, Global Mobility & Immigration

Location: Hartford, United States

Salary: $210,800–$310,000 USD per year, plus potential equity grants.

What you will do

• Define and drive the global mobility and immigration strategy, priorities, and operating model.
• Harmonize policies, roles, and processes across hirify.global brands into a scalable, M&A-ready function.
• Lead and develop pillar leaders and a globally distributed team of mobility and immigration professionals.
• Manage immigration and relocation vendor strategy, including evaluation, negotiation, and consolidation.
• Modernize technology and processes from case intake through visa filing and relocation.
• Advise Legal, Talent Acquisition, People Business Partners, and senior leadership on high-risk escalations.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive experience in global mobility and/or immigration.
• Several years of experience leading teams and owning strategy across multiple jurisdictions, ideally including the US, EMEA, and APAC.
• Experience building or scaling a global mobility or immigration function within a multinational, fast-paced environment.
• Experience developing people leaders and building long-term organizational capability.
• Strong cross-cultural fluency, change management experience, and judgment in high-risk situations.
• Experience partnering with Legal, Talent Acquisition, People Business Partners, and senior leaders; interest in applying AI and other tools to improve operations.
