Senior Financial Reporting Associate

Location: Herndon, VA, United States; hybrid with on-site work 2–3 days per week. Candidates should live within approximately 50 miles of the office.

Salary: $112,800–$142,500 USD per year, plus bonus plans and benefits.

What you will do

• Support technical accounting, general ledger accounting, financial reporting, statutory reporting, and external audits.
• Prepare monthly financial statement packages and analyze P&L and balance-sheet fluctuations for FP&A budget analysis.
• Prepare quarterly consolidated reporting packages, including statements of cash flows and intercompany transaction analyses.
• Prepare US consolidated and UK local statutory financial statements, equity roll-forwards, cash flow statements, and footnote disclosures.
• Coordinate audit PBC items, tax provisions, annual entity valuations, and review of equity-award valuation entries under ASC 718.
• Maintain reporting SOPs, assess quarterly ASC updates, and identify process-improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience; technology-industry experience is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and familiarity with financial statements, journal entries, month-end close, and audit adjustments.
• Proficiency with large general-ledger systems such as Oracle Fusion or Salesforce and advanced use of Excel.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement in Herndon, VA, with regular on-site attendance; applicants must have the right to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with UK GAAP, including FRS 102.
• Public accounting experience.
• Experience in the technology industry.
