Program Manager - CBO (Cybersecurity)

Location: Washington, DC — hybrid, with on-site presence required as assigned; occasional work at computing facilities in Ashburn, VA and Manassas, VA. Core hours are 9:00 AM–6:00 PM ET, Monday–Friday.

Salary: $150,000–$182,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage BPA and task-order administration, contract governance, performance monitoring, and customer expectations.
• Serve as the primary customer contact and liaison among technical teams, the COR, and executive leadership.
• Lead project initiation and planning, translating business requirements into technical solutions and implementation plans.
• Manage resources, budgets, task assignments, labor-burn forecasts, schedules, and deliverable quality.
• Identify and mitigate technical and project risks across multiple concurrent activities.
• Prepare task proposals, policies, procedures, work instructions, and executive-level status reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an information technology-related field.
• 10–12 years of program or project management experience, including major Federal IT programs.
• PMP certification, or at least 10 years of directly relevant program management experience in lieu of PMP.
• Working knowledge of information technology and cybersecurity capabilities, plus proficiency with project management tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with senior executives and the ability to meet critical deadlines.
• U.S. citizenship or permanent residence is required; ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust Tier 2 suitability, including FBI background screening and U.S. Capitol Police fingerprinting.

Nice to have

• Active PMP certification and ITIL Foundation.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary programs across network engineering and cybersecurity.
• Experience with GSA IT Schedule task orders and Blanket Purchase Agreements.
• Experience supporting federal, Congressional, or legislative branch agencies.
