Intermediate Software Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Design, implement, and test highly available and resilient software solutions for fraud detection and risk management.
• Build and operate scalable data pipelines, transformations, and integrations supporting fraud analytics and machine learning models.
• Develop services, APIs, data layers, and frontend integrations across the stack.
• Own systems end-to-end, including delivery, monitoring, incident response, and iteration.
• Work with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to translate fraud and risk requirements into scalable solutions.
• Maintain security, confidentiality, and privacy controls while mentoring teammates and promoting engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least 2 years of related experience, an advanced degree, or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, JavaScript, TypeScript, and a modern framework such as Vue.
• Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience building applications with cloud-native, service-oriented architecture.
• Fluent written and oral English communication is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Airflow, dbt, Snowflake, or AWS data services.
• Knowledge of data modeling, transformation, or orchestration.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or infrastructure as code.
