What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services, REST APIs, and microservices.
• Build automation, integration, and data-processing solutions using Python.
• Write clean, efficient, secure, scalable, and resilient code with Java, Spring Boot, Python, and related technologies.
• Participate in code reviews, pull request feedback, technical requirements analysis, and implementation decisions.
• Contribute to application modernization and cloud-native development with cross-functional teams.
• Support SDLC compliance, banking technology stability, risk controls, and audit-related requirements.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree and 3 years of systems analysis or application development experience, or a bachelor’s degree and 1 year of relevant experience; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Professional proficiency in Java and/or Python with enterprise application development experience.
• Experience with Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, microservices, SQL, and database development.
• Experience with Git or other source control tools and collaborative development practices, including code reviews.
• Understanding of object-oriented design principles and modern software development methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and time-management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Azure, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with relational or NoSQL databases, including MongoDB.
• Experience with React and modern frontend development frameworks.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development practices.
