Solutions Engineer (Developer Security)

Location: Remote within the United States; San Francisco presence. Must be based in or willing to relocate to San Francisco.

What you will do

• Run proof-of-concepts, guide customer onboarding, and recommend best practices for architectures and use cases.
• Partner with account executives on technical discovery calls, product demonstrations, and customer implementations.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to customer and business leaders while ensuring activation and long-term product success.
• Identify customer friction, understand user journeys, and provide feedback for the product and UX/DX roadmaps.
• Host webinars and knowledge-sharing sessions, and improve documentation and public-facing materials.
• Help shape customer success and go-to-market functions as the customer base scales.

Requirements

• Must be based in or willing to relocate to San Francisco.
• Previous experience in development, systems engineering, DevOps, or a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Developer Relations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Understanding of developer workflows and DevSecOps infrastructure.
• Ability to operate with high ownership and energy in an ambiguous, fast-scaling environment.
• Experience supporting enterprise accounts and collaborating with technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with secrets management tools or developer security platforms.
• Open source contributions or involvement in developer communities.
• Experience with public speaking, webinars, or technical talks.
• Prior experience in a startup or rapidly scaling company.
