Multi-Platform Producer, Telemundo Utah

Location: Full-time onsite in Salt Lake City, Utah, at Telemundo Utah

What you will do

• Create daily digital content for websites, apps, social media, FAST, OTT, and linear platforms.
• Follow breaking news, publish updates, send push alerts, and monitor video sources for audience-relevant content.
• Write and organize news stories, scripts, headlines, teases, topicals, and newscast elements.
• Produce and coordinate live newscasts, events, video series, and streaming content across multiple platforms.
• Support reporters and on-air talent with original digital content and fill in on the assignment desk or as a news producer.
• Apply strong news judgment, follow editorial standards, and make decisions under stress and tight deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism or media communication.
• At least 2 years of producer experience, including at least 1 year writing, editing, or producing daily video products.
• Fluent Spanish speaking, reading, and writing skills, plus the ability to speak, read, and understand English.
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States and willingness to work full-time from Telemundo Utah in Salt Lake City.
• Valid driver’s license, ability to lift or carry 25 lbs, and minimum age of 18.
• Availability for overtime, evenings, weekends, holidays, multiple shifts, travel, and short-notice schedule changes.
