AI Enablement Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid in New York, San Francisco, or Seattle

Base salary: $210,000–$230,000 per year, plus equity and an annual bonus or commission plan.

What you will do

• Drive adoption of AI foundations, tooling patterns, standards, and the AI Development Lifecycle across engineering.
• Build feedback loops with engineers, team leads, and managers to identify adoption blockers, tooling gaps, and workflow improvements.
• Create short-form enablement content, demonstrations, prompt patterns, templates, playbooks, checklists, and reusable AI-assisted workflows.
• Support office hours, hack sessions, team enablement sessions, onboarding assets, and role-specific learning related to AI tooling and engineering standards.
• Partner with engineering leads to define dashboards and metrics for AI tool usage, AIDLC adoption, productivity, quality, and consistency.
• Package progress metrics and success stories for leadership updates, engineering all-hands, planning discussions, and quarterly reviews.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in developer productivity, developer experience, technical enablement, engineering communications, technical program leadership, or a similar role in a fast-moving technical organization.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, code review, testing, developer tooling, platform and reliability concepts, and engineering standards.
• Strong experience using AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gamma, and Cursor to create content, package workflows, summarize information, and build reusable assets.
• Experience creating prompt libraries, short-form enablement content, templates, playbooks, feedback loops, adoption mechanisms, or learning systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical ideas into practical guidance for different audiences.
• Ability to partner across engineering leadership, platform teams, operations, recruiting, and business stakeholders with high ownership and sound judgment.

Nice to have

• Experience in B2B SaaS, platform engineering, identity, fraud, risk, fintech, or other technically complex environments.
• Familiarity with engineering productivity metrics, usage analytics, cost governance, AI tooling dashboards, or knowledge automation systems.
• Experience running office hours, technical communities, guilds, brown bags, or structured enablement programs.
• Familiarity with Notion, Confluence, Slack, Jira, Glean, LearnUpon, or Jellyfish.
• Experience creating executive-ready materials from raw technical inputs.
