AI Solutions Strategist (AI)

Location: Hybrid in New York, NY, with regular in-office collaboration and customer travel. Relocation expense coverage is available to NYC or San Francisco if needed.

Salary: New York OTE of $176,000–$240,000 with a 75/25 split, plus equity.

What you will do

• Interview Finance, Procurement, AP, and IT stakeholders to diagnose workflows, pain points, risks, costs, and compliance requirements.
• Identify opportunities for AI-powered intake, classification, routing, matching, and exception handling.
• Translate customer needs into problem statements, requirements, success metrics, constraints, acceptance criteria, and deployment plans.
• Partner with engineers and AI builders to design and ship workflows, including data inputs, integrations, governance, auditability, and model evaluation.
• Synthesize customer learnings into reusable product patterns and high-signal briefs for Product and Engineering.
• Present outcomes and recommendations to operators and executives, quantifying time savings, error reduction, compliance improvements, and faster close.

Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant experience in solutions, implementation, product strategy, consulting, or technical program management.
• Strong corporate finance and controllership experience, including accounting close, spend governance and controls, budgeting, procurement, and AP operations.
• Experience translating finance requirements into system design and configuration across ERP or accounting, procurement, expense management, and payment systems.
• Ability to work with finance system owners on integrations, data mapping, change management, testing, UAT, and rollouts.
• Exposure to AI-enabled products, automation, or applied ML, with comfort working with APIs, ETL, SQL, spreadsheets, and data quality.
• Strong customer empathy, problem-framing, written and verbal communication, and the ability to operate proactively in ambiguity.
