Service Supervisor Full Time (Tire Bay)

Location: Wayne, New Jersey, United States; onsite retail role

Salary: $21.00–$26.25 per hour

What you will do

• Manage tire bay operations, staffing, scheduling, sales, installations, rotations, balancing, repairs, and tire disposal.
• Supervise, train, coach, and evaluate tire bay team members while providing feedback and supporting development.
• Maintain safe operation of tire bay equipment, propane tanks, tools, records, audits, checklists, and installation policies.
• Provide knowledgeable service at the tire desk, resolve member concerns, and coordinate tire needs with the Home Office.
• Maintain clean, organized, and professional tire bay and waiting areas, including tire displays and automotive merchandise.
• Use business metrics and reporting to improve department performance, profitability, and club standards.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or college degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Knowledge of tires, batteries, propane tanks, and tire bay equipment; prior tire installation and sales experience is preferred.
• Leadership ability, including supervising cross-functional teams, training team members, and communicating results.
• Basic computer skills, strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Must pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire; ability to lift over 30 pounds with assistance.

Nice to have

• Level 400 certified technician qualification.
• High school diploma or college degree.
• Prior tire installation and sales experience.
