(USA) Tire and Battery Center Team Leader

Location: 921 Viewmont Dr, Scranton Dickson City, Pennsylvania 18519, United States; onsite role in the Tire and Battery Center.

Salary: $23.00–$31.00 per hour, plus potential premiums of $0.35–$3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.

What you will do

• Supervise the Tire and Battery Center team and execute department goals, service standards, company programs, and business plans.
• Maintain expertise in tire and battery services, equipment operations, TPMS, recalls, product specifications, seasonality, safety, and compliance.
• Train associates, monitor required learning and assessments, develop skills, and support internal and external talent sourcing.
• Use handheld and other digital tools to make decisions related to services, safety alerts, products, applications, and training.
• Plan staffing, scheduling, equipment, tools, supplies, inventory, returns, and special orders while supporting cash register operations and hands-on member service.
• Collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners to improve processes, maintain documentation, and achieve operational excellence.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of supervisory experience or 6 months of experience in the automotive industry.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Successful completion of all required job training and assessments within the prescribed timeframe.
• Ability to work hands-on in a physical Tire and Battery Center environment while maintaining safety, ethics, and compliance standards.

Nice to have

• Supervisory experience in the tire industry.
• Tire industry certification.
