hirify.global develops metrology and inspection systems for the semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem. The Broadband Plasma Division provides patterned wafer optical inspection products used by logic, foundry, and memory customers to detect yield-critical defects.

What you will do

• Analyze and solve problems involving complex industrial inspection equipment.
• Evaluate interactions between optical and electromechanical systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot optics, opto-mechanics, and motion control systems.
• Use scientific and statistical analysis tools to investigate system behavior.
• Respond quickly to field and internal escalations in a fast-paced program environment.
• Share technical information with functional groups and provide reports to management and customers.

Requirements

• Strong engineering or physical science background with demonstrated analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of optical and electromechanical systems and their interactions.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills in optics, opto-mechanics, and motion control.
• Familiarity with scientific and statistical analysis tools, including Matlab and JMP.
• Doctorate with 0 years of related experience, master's degree with 3 years of related experience, or bachelor's degree with 5 years of related experience.
• Effective technical communication skills, including communication with management and customers.

Nice to have

• Experience with scripting languages such as Python.
