Senior Electronic Engineer (Circuit Design)

Location: Dayton, Ohio, United States — in-office. Travel: 0–10%. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.

Salary: $115,600–$158,900 per year. Bonus eligible; not commission eligible.

What you will do

• Design and implement electrical hardware and circuit components for positioning and automation applications.
• Collaborate with systems, controls, firmware, and software engineers throughout design and production phases.
• Perform circuit analysis, bench testing, debugging, and design validation.
• Create test plans and support verification and regulatory activities.
• Lead design development and transition completed products into manufacturing.
• Present technical concepts, schedules, and program updates during design reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in electronic circuit design, testing, and debugging.
• Strong written and technical communication skills for preparing specifications, test plans, and test reports.
• Experience with office productivity tools and exposure to PLM and ERP systems.
• Familiarity with C and C++ firmware development principles.

Nice to have

• Experience with inertial measurement units, accelerometers, and gyroscopes.
• Experience designing functional safety products.
• Proficiency with Matlab and SPICE/PSpice simulation tools.
