(USA) Senior Manager II, Site Engineer - Supply Chain

Location: Onsite at the Walmart Distribution Center in Brookhaven, Mississippi, United States

Salary: $128,000–$192,000 annual base salary, plus performance-based bonuses and possible stock or regional pay zone compensation.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end operational improvements across the Distribution Center in partnership with the General Manager, Assistant General Manager, and Process Improvement Manager.
• Manage Process Quality Engineer workloads and balance network-driven projects with building-specific improvements.
• Apply root cause analysis, time and motion studies, statistical process control, process deviation management, 5S, and Six Sigma to eliminate losses and sustain standards.
• Support the Walmart Performance System and Daily Management System through problem solving, reviews, and countermeasure implementation.
• Collaborate on network One Best Way standard implementation and deviation processes.
• Execute business plans, remove performance barriers, measure progress, and supervise and develop associates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field plus 4 years of experience in continuous improvement or a related area, or 6 years of experience in engineering, continuous improvement, or a related area.
• 4 years of experience leading teams.
• Knowledge and practical application of Quality Management System elements, including Statistical Process Control, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, and Quality Key Performance Indicators.
• Demonstrated ownership of projects that delivered sustainable, long-term savings.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work onsite at the Brookhaven, Mississippi Distribution Center.

Nice to have

• Experience conducting work measurement, predetermined time systems, and related analysis.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration or Computer Engineering.
