Product Marketing Manager (AI)

Location: San Mateo, California, United States; hybrid with in-office presence required three days per week, Tuesday through Thursday.

Annual base salary: USD 160,000–200,000, plus eligibility for a target bonus.

What you will do

• Own product marketing for the Freshservice platform, including positioning, messaging, and major launches.
• Develop the platform narrative and communicate the business value of unifying IT service and operations.
• Lead cross-functional launch planning with Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Enablement, and PR.
• Create customer-facing content such as web pages, blogs, videos, webinars, and campaigns.
• Build sales enablement materials, including presentations, battlecards, FAQs, demos, and competitive messaging.
• Conduct customer interviews, market research, and competitive analysis to inform positioning, adoption, and future platform direction.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product marketing experience in B2B SaaS.
• Experience marketing ITSM, IT operations, DevOps, observability, cloud, cybersecurity, or enterprise infrastructure products.
• Experience launching complex, multi-product platforms involving AI, machine learning, GenAI, Copilot, agentic AI, or other intelligent software capabilities.
• Strong positioning, messaging, storytelling, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Experience leading cross-functional product launches and partnering with Product Management and Engineering.
• Ability to work from San Mateo, CA and attend the office Tuesday through Thursday.

Nice to have

• Experience marketing a multi-product suite or platform and developing consolidation or better-together narratives.
• Familiarity with enterprise AI adoption, AI agents, automation, or workflow platforms.
• Experience marketing to IT administrators, IT leaders, or enterprise technology buyers.
