Insurance Expert (Health Insurance)

What you will do

• Design and price health insurance offers for companies and public institutions.
• Monitor the insurance portfolio, business performance, and associated risks.
• Develop products and pricing strategies to unlock new customer segments in Belgium.
• Provide insurance expertise for major customer opportunities and public-sector expansion.
• Strengthen regulatory relationships, compliance, and portfolio monitoring.
• Collaborate with engineers to build tools for creating tailored insurance offers at scale.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in the insurance sector, including meaningful exposure to health insurance products.
• Fluent English and Dutch; French is a plus.
• Scientific background in actuarial sciences, statistics, mathematics, or data science combined with practical insurance experience.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex data, business, and legal questions into actionable outputs.
• Builder mindset and clear, structured, concise communication skills.
• Target seniority range: C1–E.

Nice to have

• French language skills.
• Experience with hospitalisation, group insurance, disability, or dental insurance.
