Employee Benefits Analyst II (Insurance)

What you will do

• Perform financial analytics for predominantly fully insured employee benefits clients, typically covering 100–250 lives.
• Prepare market reviews, renewal rate and funding projections, claims utilization analyses, rate and contribution analyses, claims experience reports, and benchmarking.
• Develop alternative strategies, plan models, and cost-reduction opportunities.
• Analyze group insurance contracts, financial arrangements, and claims experience data.
• Manage carrier marketing for new business and renewals, including quote requests, option evaluation, and fact-based rate and benefit negotiations.
• Prepare executive summaries, renewal correspondence, and client recommendations while maintaining a full book of business.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in employee benefits or a related field.
• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Must hold or be willing to obtain a state Life & Disability insurance license.
• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced team environment with minimal instruction.
• Comfort with internet-based programs and Microsoft Office products.
