Assistant Manager - Bilingual (Optical Retail)

Location: Willis, Texas, United States; onsite store-based role

What you will do

• Monitor profit, sales, performance goals, and store financial results, including P&L reviews.
• Oversee the eyeglass department, ensuring operational efficiency, quality standards, and policy compliance.
• Deliver strong customer service and ensure associates maintain service standards.
• Supervise, motivate, and coach Opticians, Contact Lens Sales associates, and, where applicable, reception staff.
• Coordinate promotions, advertising, visual merchandising, store reporting, and communication with management.
• Support staffing forecasts, recruiting, selection, and retention of store employees.

Requirements

• Fluent English and Spanish reading and speaking skills required.
• Optical sales experience; supervisory experience is preferred.
• Ability to lead, coach, and build effective associate relationships.
• Knowledge of store operations, team management, customer service, and organizational planning.
• Ability to analyze, create, and understand financial reports and solve problems of varied scope.
• Specific licenses or credentials may be required by state law for certain duties.
