Maintenance Manager (CNC Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Manage the Maintenance Department in support of safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Program inputs and outputs and maintain, repair, and troubleshoot CNC manufacturing equipment and facilities.
• Analyze machine hardware and software problems using technical CNC knowledge, schematics, and control systems.
• Reduce downtime through preventive maintenance and early identification of equipment problems.
• Maintain machine and maintenance data for use by other employees.
• Train staff, evaluate performance, and support recruiting and personnel decisions when required.

Requirements

• Post-high school education.
• 3–5 years of experience in machine repair and maintenance, plus 1–3 years of experience managing people.
• Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and control technology, as well as welding.
• Knowledge of safe equipment practices, applicable regulations, hazardous waste, and hazardous materials handling procedures.
• Working knowledge of precision tools, measuring instruments, hand tools, Excel, Word, Outlook, and other business software.
