Product Manager (Developer Experience)

Location: US - San Francisco, CA; hybrid, with at least 3 days in the office. Travel required 5–10% of the time.

Salary: $146,200–$233,700 USD per year, plus potential bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Create and improve developer experiences for hirify.global authentication products, especially hirify.global Payment Passkey.
• Drive improvements across the integration journey, from the first API call through production certification.
• Write product requirements for developer tools, APIs, SDKs, beta platforms, and related features.
• Design certification processes and solutioning initiatives that balance security, developer efficiency, and time-to-launch.
• Partner with engineering teams on API design, tooling, platform capabilities, and iterative delivery.
• Represent the product team in client meetings, guide partners through integrations, gather feedback, and track developer experience metrics.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience with an advanced degree.
• Experience leading initiatives as a product owner in an agile environment and coordinating complex workstreams.
• Hands-on experience with APIs, developer portals, documentation, sandbox environments, SDKs, and developer integrations in ecommerce or payments.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, Postman, Swagger, GitHub, and system architecture, including high-load and low-latency services.
• Knowledge of identity and access management and authentication protocols such as OAuth, OpenID, and FIDO2.
• Strong communication, presentation, analytical, stakeholder management, and product execution skills.

Nice to have

• 6+ years of experience with a bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced-degree experience.
• Multi-national experience in a highly matrixed organization.
• Subject matter expertise in payments and/or ecommerce processing.
• Experience with PowerPoint, Excel, JIRA, and JIRA Align.
