Financial Analyst (Energy)

What you will do

• Provide project accounting and financial business partnering support to engineering, field service, training, and other operational functions.
• Report financial results, forecasts, opportunities, and risks to management.
• Support project and commercial project managers with project spend and risk control.
• Prepare monthly reporting covering forecasts, variance analysis, cost of sales, revenue, EBIT, and balance sheet items.
• Lead month-end activities, including journals, accruals, prepayments, and margin accuracy in SAP.
• Maintain internal and external audit compliance and apply financial reporting guidelines.

Requirements

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 3–5 years of project accounting experience is desirable.
• Knowledge of reporting, budgeting, and forecasting principles and processes.
• Experience with SAP and Excel.
• Stakeholder management, communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret and apply accounting guidelines.
