FP&A & Commercial Finance Manager

Location: London (Angel), hybrid with office attendance 3 days per week

Salary: £70,000–£85,000 per year, depending on experience

What you will do

• Build, maintain, and scale monthly forecast, annual budget, and scenario-planning financial models across a multi-entity, multi-product business.
• Own the end-to-end budgeting and forecasting process, including timelines, inputs, actions, and accountability across non-Finance teams.
• Lead implementation and adoption of a new FP&A modelling tool, including processes, handoffs, and ways of working.
• Analyse financial performance, forecast changes, margins, P&L, and cash, translating findings into clear business insight.
• Model deal economics with Sales teams and support customer negotiations, investment cases, and wider strategic decisions.
• Prepare financial and KPI reporting for weekly Business Reviews, bi-monthly All Hands, and quarterly Board meetings.

Requirements

• Previous experience in FP&A and/or Commercial Finance, ideally in a technology-led or multi-product hardware and software business.
• Qualified or part-qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent strong commercial finance experience.
• Experience owning end-to-end budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Strong financial modelling skills, including building complex models from scratch.
• Experience producing clear reporting and KPI charts for senior stakeholders and partnering with functional leads.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with strong project and time management skills.

• Experience with FP&A platforms such as Abacum, Cube, or similar tools.
• Experience in a scaling, technology, or high-growth business environment.
• Commercial insight across hardware and software operations, including project assessment and operational savings.
