Safety Coordinator 1

Location: White Bear Lake, Minnesota, United States; onsite facility role

Salary: $20–$30 per hour, dependent on experience

hirify.global is hiring for a facility-based safety coordination role supporting operational safety programs.

What you will do

• Inspect facility operations, safe work practices, protective equipment, and machine or process guards.
• Investigate accidents and near misses, identify trends and causes, and implement corrective measures.
• Develop safety programs with management and chair the Safety Committee.
• Conduct new-hire, machinery, equipment, forklift, and other employee safety training.
• Coordinate fire inspections, regulatory agency visits, hearing conservation, and employee duties under medical restrictions.
• Maintain OSHA 300 logs, required reports, safety supplies, and communication with management, Human Resources, and claims administrators.

Requirements

• High school graduation or equivalent.
• Zero to two years of experience in safety or woodworking operations.
• Working knowledge of computer and business software, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to coordinate facility safety programs, inspections, training, and incident reporting.

Nice to have

• First Aid and CPR experience.
• Working knowledge of OSHA and DOT regulations.
