Senior/Principal Data Analyst (Energy)

Salary: $84,900–$138,600 per year, depending on level

What you will do

• Define, implement, and support advanced analytics solutions and capabilities.
• Wrangle, integrate, validate, and analyze structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
• Develop efficient, high-quality code and apply appropriate programming approaches with version control.
• Create interactive, statistical, and exploratory visualizations that communicate business impact.
• Partner with business stakeholders, development teams, and engineering teams to solve business problems.
• At the Principal level, prioritize team workload, manage multiple tasks, and lead the analytics team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, CIS, Statistics, Analytics, or a related IT field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of analytics experience for the Senior level or 8 years for the Principal level.
• Expertise in SQL and experience working with large, complex datasets.
• Experience with data wrangling, visual analytics, statistics, probability, data pipelines, analytics data warehouses, and big data platforms.
• Strong communication, collaboration, attention to detail, and ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Principal-level candidates need demonstrated leadership skills and experience with SAP products and/or Microsoft Power BI.
