Senior Manager, Data Analytics

Location: Sam's Home Office AR Bentonville Home Office, Bentonville, Arkansas, United States

Salary: $90,000–$180,000 annually, plus annual or quarterly performance bonuses and potential Regional Pay Zone compensation.

What you will do

• Own the product vision, requirements, feature prioritization, and roadmaps for internal inventory flow tools and enterprise platforms.
• Lead the development of in-house data-driven solutions using AI, SQL, Power BI, and existing Walmart platforms.
• Build analytical capabilities that improve inventory movement, decision-making, cost, speed, and availability.
• Design scalable automation and standardized processes to reduce manual work and streamline workflows.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Supply Chain, Merchandising, Sam's Club, and Walmart stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience, master's degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or 6 years of relevant experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, Power BI or Tableau, and data pipeline design.
• Experience defining product requirements and working with Product and Engineering teams.
• Strong project management, communication, analytical, and business intelligence skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python, Spark, Scala, R, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Master's degree in a relevant business, technical, analytics, mathematics, or computer science field.
• Experience in retail, merchandising, healthcare, e-commerce, or a related industry.
• Successful completion of assessments in data analysis and business intelligence tools.
