Senior Medical Science Liaison, Neuroscience (Mood) - NYC/NJ

Location: New City, New York, United States; New York City/New Jersey territory. The role supports a defined territory with up to 70% travel for in-territory visits, meetings, congresses, and related events.

Base pay: $137,000–$235,750 per year.

What you will do

• Develop and execute a scientific engagement plan aligned with Medical Affairs strategy and medical priorities.
• Build professional relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and academic and community provider teams.
• Lead balanced, non-promotional scientific exchanges and tailor clinical evidence to stakeholder needs.
• Identify treatment-landscape trends, unmet needs, educational gaps, and actionable insights for medical strategy.
• Support company-sponsored and investigator-initiated studies and respond to external scientific inquiries.
• Collaborate with R&D, Medical Affairs, clinical operations, field partners, and other internal stakeholders while maintaining compliance.

Requirements

• Doctorate-level degree or equivalent experience, such as PharmD, PhD, MD, or an advanced practice provider qualification.
• Postgraduate experience for doctoral-level candidates and at least 2 years of relevant experience, including demonstrated success as an MSL.
• Strong scientific and therapeutic expertise in research, data analysis, clinical practice, problem-solving, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to support the defined territory with up to 70% travel.
• Valid US driver’s license preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CoPilot, computers, and remote technologies.
