Director, Medical Science Liaison (Neuroscience)

Location: Remote on the West Coast, USA; travel up to 50–75%, including overnight stays and weekends as needed.

Base salary: $235,000–$260,000 per annum, plus discretionary bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing regional Medical Science Liaison team.
• Translate medical strategy into consistent, high-quality field scientific engagement.
• Oversee territory planning, stakeholder prioritization, and deployment of field medical resources.
• Collect, synthesize, and communicate actionable medical insights to inform clinical development, medical strategy, and education planning.
• Support medical education initiatives, advisory boards, and scientific congress engagement.
• Partner with Clinical Development, Market Access, Government Affairs, and other cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Advanced scientific training with credentials such as PhD, PharmD, PMHNP, or MD.
• At least 3 years of Medical Science Liaison experience.
• Demonstrated field medical leadership, project management, and cross-functional collaboration experience.
• Experience managing and supporting direct reports.
• Strong verbal and written communication, listening, organization, accountability, integrity, and teamwork skills.
• Employment rights in the United States are required; employment visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Background or experience in neuroscience, psychiatry, or psychology.
• Experience in pre-commercial or early-launch environments.
