Mobile Phlebotomist, PRN

Location: Hayden, Idaho; mobile work at local company health-screening events

Compensation: $27–$32 per hour

What you will do

• Perform and record biometric measurements, including height, weight, blood pressure, body fat, and BMI.
• Collect blood samples through fingersticks and venipuncture in a fast-paced event environment.
• Prepare specimens for storage or further processing and maintain laboratory transaction records.
• Set up and break down portable blood-draw and biometric screening stations.
• Transport supplies to and from events, including loads of up to 20 pounds.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current national phlebotomy certification, an accredited phlebotomy program certificate with completed hands-on externship, or qualifying recent blood-draw experience.
• State-specific phlebotomy certification is required when performing phlebotomy in Nevada, California, Washington, or Louisiana.
• Strong customer service, communication, attention to detail, and independent-working skills.
• Availability Monday through Friday in the morning for PRN, event-based work.
• Reliable transportation, computer and internet proficiency, ability to pass a background check, and ability to lift up to 20 pounds.

Nice to have

• One year of health-screening or phlebotomy experience.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices and OSHA regulations.
