Clinical Lab Assistant Phlebotomist - Specimen Collection - Full Time

Location: Manchester, New Hampshire, United States. Onsite role working 40 hours per week from 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., with rotating weekend and holiday coverage.

What you will do

• Verify patient requisitions, demographics, orders, and collection documentation.
• Receive, label, track, store, and prepare specimens for processing and transportation.
• Operate centrifuges, aliquot specimens, and maintain specimen integrity throughout laboratory handling.
• Perform routine and advanced venipuncture, capillary collection, and blood culture collection across all age groups.
• Answer patient and provider calls, communicate testing requirements and results, and document STAT and critical results.
• Enter laboratory orders into EPIC, resolve follow-up issues, and coordinate non-routine courier pickups.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy course or phlebotomy experience preferred.
• ASCP certification preferred.
• Ability to work the scheduled 5:00 a.m.–1:30 p.m. shift and rotate weekends and holidays.
• Ability to perform collections on patients of all age groups and follow proper specimen identification and labeling procedures.
