PRN Medical Assistant/LPN

Pay range: $21.00–$25.00 per hour

What you will do

• Escort patients, prepare exam rooms, and ensure clinical areas are clean and stocked.
• Review medical information, gather updated health data, take vital signs, draw blood, give injections, bandage wounds, and assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer approved medications and immunizations under provider direction and written orders.
• Support individual patient care plans, identify care gaps, and participate in patient outreach.
• Perform scheduling, check-in and check-out, medical record requests, documentation, referrals, and coordination of specialist visits.
• Process test results, update medical records, and maintain clinical and office supplies.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant or related program.
• National or state-specific Medical Assistant certification or registration is strongly preferred and required where mandated by the state.
• CPR/BLS certification is required by the start date.

Nice to have

• Phlebotomy experience.
