Mobile Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist - Per Diem In-Home Services

Location: Various U.S. locations with local travel within the designated geographic area; visits take place in patients' homes.

Salary: $25 per hour, including appointment and travel time; a two-hour minimum is paid.

What you will do

• Collect, label, transport, and deliver blood specimens according to laboratory policies and regulatory standards.
• Perform trained clinical screenings, including EKGs and macular edema examinations.
• Travel to patient residences and maintain a clean, organized vehicle and supply storage area.
• Monitor clinical inventory and maintain required medical equipment and supplies.
• Complete visit paperwork, mileage logs, and time records accurately and promptly.
• Report adverse events, medical product complaints, and patient inquiries according to applicable guidance.

Requirements

• At least two years of phlebotomy experience in clinical or field settings.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 100 miles for patient visits.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds of medical or diagnostic equipment.
• Proficiency with medical equipment and clinical documentation practices.
• Fluent spoken and written English required.
• Valid driver's license; driving record review, drug screening, and background check required.

Nice to have

• At least one year of EKG experience.
• Certified Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy Technician certification.
• A state-issued CMA or CPT license is required for candidates located in Washington or Louisiana.
